Privateer Six – coming soon
We've been busy this week putting the finishing touches to issue six of the magazine, and with any luck, it should be being printed right now, and winging its way to subscribers across the world shortly.
This issue we visited Sheffield to hang out with the guys from This is Sheffield and find out how they're reinventing mates racing, and contributing to an increasingly vibrant mountain biking scene in the city; we also follow Kona rider Barry Wicks through the TransRockies MTB race; Mike Davis takes an in-depth look at how bike geometry has arrived at its current state; we ask Chris Smith, how do you make a living as a professional freerider? And Tym Manley visits Germany's least competitive mountain bike race, Schlaflos im Sattel, while Rob Rebholz looks back at World Cup downhill racing through the years, and asks the current crop of riders who they think made it was it is today.
We think it's the best Privateer yet - we'll bring you a sneak peak of what's inside as soon as we receive our copies in the office.
